I think that the commercial was a good move on Toyota’s part. It shows their customers that they are working to solve the problem and restore their image of safe, reliable and high quality vehicles. They admit that they have not been living up to their standards and are working to restore their customers’ faith. I think customers need positive reassurance from Toyota right now and this commercial is one way of giving that.
